SA Youth is now accepting applications for Fall Cohort

SA Youth's goal is to help young adults discover their own potential and ambitions. We strive to get those minds thinking about more than just surviving but LIVING to the fullest. 

Come and discover your future. Our program is always FREE. 

Eligibility:

  • 16-24 years old
  • In need of completing GED
  • Interested in obtaining certifications, workforce training, or leadership training
  • Low-income or receiving assistance 
  • Texas resident

Parent-Directed Treatment Project

FREE two hour webinar from Texas A&M Center on Disability and Development

  • Any caretaker of a child up to 22 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder can sign up! (Either formally diagnosed or as indicated by our screening tools)
  • You will be taught how to teach your child new communication skills
  • Offered monthly
  • You can sign up to receive individualized parent directed treatment
  • Online training sessions are available!

To kick off Week of the Young Child, KLRN is excited to be a part of Kids Day in the Park which will be held Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rosedale Park, 340 Dartmouth, 78237. This family-friendly event promises to provide fun and educational activities for children ages 10 and under and will be held rain or shine. 

Kids Day activity booths include face painting, sensory stations, gross motor activities, science exploration, and arts and crafts areas. Entertainment will include dancers and musicians on stage throughout the day; mascot characters, including Katerina Kittycat from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

 

Join us at Rosedale Park on Saturday, April 22nd from 10AM to 2PM. We will be there with our friend Katerina Kittycat from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood so make sure to stop by!
